TVS NTorq 125 Overview
Design
TVS NTorq features a stylish sporty Stealth Aircraft Styling design.
It gets an aggressive look with its T-shaped flagship Headlamp and Slim Side Indicators.
The Standard variant comes with Halogen Headlamps whereas the rest (including the new Standard FI) come with LED Headlamps.
The side profile looks sporty with sharp creases and cuts.
The muscular exhaust adds an aggressive stance to the scooter. In the front, it features good leg space with a flat footrest.
The standard variant does not get any extra graphical styling.
Whereas, the premium variants get sportier graphical changes like Checkered Flag Design, Faux Carbon Fiber Finish, and Dual-tone Color Combination.
Likewise, the Super Squad variant also gets a Marvel character-themed Sporty Graphics.
Except for the graphical changes, the chassis, specs, and features are identical across all variants. However, the NTorq Race XP is the only variant that gets a bump up in extra power.
The rear profile houses a styling Prismatic Taillamp with a stylized mudguard that makes things a bit more stylish.
Additionally, the TVS NTorq 125 color options are a bit different depending on the variants.
Performance
TVS NTorq is powered by a 124.8cc, 4-stroke, 3-valve, air-cooled FI engine. It can generate a max power of 9.4PS at 7000rpm and a max torque of 10.5Nm at 5500rpm.
Moreover, it is mated to a CVT transmission with a 5-liter fuel tank. However, the Disc FI, Race Edition, and Race XP house a 5.8-liter fuel tank.
There is an interesting thing to note.
Among the available variants, only Disc FI, Race RT-FI and Race XP come with a BS6-compliant FI Engine. The rest of the variants are still equipped with the BS4-compliant Carburetor Engine.
With the change in the engine technology, the TVS NTorq FI is 2 kg heavier, losing its initial low-end punch. However, it has better mileage than the Carb variants.
