The processor is paired with 6/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Moreover, the smartphone features X-axis linear motor and a dual speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support.

The Realme 9 Pro+ has a great design and features a flagship camera sensor with optical image stabilization. It comes with a capable processor and an AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate—which would have been better if it supported up to 120Hz.

The device also comes with a stereo speaker setup, and a good x-axis linear vibration motor, and runs on Android 12. However, it does not support a microSD card anymore.

Realme 9i has a 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate.

Realme decided to go with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset, the same chipset that is powering the Redmi Note 11, for the Realme 9i. It comes with 4×2.4GHz Kryo 265 Gold (Arm Cortex-A73) CPU cores, 4×1.9GHz Kryo 265 Silver (Arm Cortex-A53) CPU cores, and an Adreno 610 GPU.

The phone has 4/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64/128GB UFS 2.1 storage. Additionally, it features a dual speaker setup.

The Realme 9i has a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP B&W camera. The punch-hole on the front houses a 16MP front camera.

The Realme 9i comes with a 5000mAh battery and 33W fast charging support. In terms of the OS, it comes with Realme UI 2.0 on top of Android 11 out-of-the-box.

Realme 9i does not bring a lot of good upgrades over Realme 8i. It has an inferior chipset and a 90Hz refresh rate display instead of a 120Hz one. It still does not offer an ultra-wide-angle camera, but two useless macro and B&W depth cameras.
