Jagadamba Motors, the authorized distributor of TVS bikes in Nepal, is planning a series of new BS6 launches for the Nepali market.

TVS Ronin 225 Overview
Design
TVS Ronin 225 is unique, different, and fresh. It sports a brand new cruiser styling, a first from TVS Motors.
There is a mix of retro elements with modern ones.
The front section gets a circular T-Face Pilot Lamp with a powerful LED headlamp. The side indicators are also LEDs.
Interestingly enough, the cruiser styling is even more apparent from the side profile.

It gets the sculpted tank with the TVS horse badging, single-piece seat, and a tank cowl. Moreover, the rear fender does hinder the overall profile.
Except for that, it includes a sleek LED tail lamp.
Although, it would have been preferable if the rear light was circular to match the front.
Other unique Ronin elements include 9-Spoke Alloy Wheels, Chain Cover, and Custom Exhaust.

Additionally, the TVS Ronin 225 comes in six different colors: Grey and Orange.
Performance
TVS Ronin 225 is powered by a 225.9cc Single-Cylinder, 4-Stroke, 4-Valve, Oil-Cooled, SOHC, FI engine. It generates a max power of 20.4PS at 7750rpm and a max torque of 19.93Nm at 3750rpm.
It is mated to a 5-Speed Gearbox with Assisted Slipper Clutch. Moreover, it comes with a 14-liter fuel tank capacity.

This is the same engine as in the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
TVS Motors has increased the engine displacement by incrementing the stroke by 8.2mm. Hence, bringing the both bore and the stroke to 66mm.
There are no riding modes like the other TVS products. However, it does include Urban and Rain Mode to switch between the ABS sensitivity.
Other trademark TVS features like Glide Through Technology (GTT), Adjustable Levers, Side Stand Engine Cut Off, and Dual-Channel ABS come as standard.
Additional Details
The dimensions are 2040mm in length, 1170mm in height, and 805mm in width. Moreover, the wheelbase sits at 1357mm.
TVS Ronin gets a 181mm ground clearance. And, the kerb weight is 160 kg.
41mm USD Fork and 7-Step Adjustable Mono Shock handle the suspension duties.

TVS Ronin Price in Nepal and Availability
There is no official word on its pricing or its official launch date. However, it is due to launch for quite some time.
TVS Ronin 225 price in Nepal will be a premium offering.
There are many variations (like variants, features, and more) that could determine its asking price. Nevertheless, it will be priced well above Rs. 5 Lakhs.
It should officially launch in 2023, quite possibly during the festive season. However, it is pure speculation on my part.
Nevertheless, we will continue to update this as more details come to light.
TVS Ronin will rival Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
While it is respectable to see TVS aiming at the cruiser segment, the Royal Enfield has been a go-to for many.
If TVS Nepal wants to make a long-lasting impact, it has to launch the Ronin before Royal Enfield Nepal makes a move.
Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see how this unfolds.
