Samsung S10+ Overview
Samsung Galaxy S10+ is a year-old flagship from Samsung. It has a premium design and build with an all-glass design and aluminum frame.
On the rear, it gets a triple camera setup and on the front, it has a pill-shaped punch hole on the front. It has IP68 certification for water resistance and has Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
S10+ is also one of the phones to rock a horizontal camera setup and the first Samsung flagship to come with the in-display fingerprint sensor.
We get a 6.4 inches Dynamic AMOLED Display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 3040. It supports HDR10 so you can watch HDR videos on YouTube and Netflix. But, it’s a 60Hz display. You don’t get high refresh rate goodness with it.
S10 Plus is packing an Exynos 9820 with Octa-core CPU and Mali G76 MP12 GPU. Along with it, you can get 8GB RAM and 128/512GB storage.
Exynos 9820 is built-in 8nm process and has an Octa-core (2×2.73 GHz Mongoose M4 & 2×2.31 GHz Cortex-A75 & 4×1.95 GHz Cortex-A55) CPU along with Mali-G76 MP12 GPU.
While Exynos 9820 is a flagship chipset with good performance. It is known to lag behind its Snapdragon counterpart, Snapdragon 855. This is much more evident while gaming. But, it is still a good chipset which will handle everything you throw at it.
Samsung Galaxy S10+ has a triple camera setup with a 12MP main sensor, a 12MP telephoto lens, and a 16MP ultrawide sensor. It can capture videos up to 4K 60fps without EIS with HDR10+ support.
On the front, it has a dual-camera setup with 10MP and 8MP sensors. It can capture videos up to 4k 60fps via the front camera.

S10 Plus rocks a 4100 mAh battery along with 15W fast charging. It will easily take you through a full day without any problem But, the 15W fast charging for a flagship phone doesn’t sound convincing.
It will take slightly over 1 and a half hours to charge it from 0 to 100.
Furthermore, it runs on One UI 2.1 on top of Android 10. And, it is sure to get the Android 11 update in the future. Also, the S10+ retains the headphone jack.

However, you can get a more value flagship phone if you go for the Xiaomi Mi 10 for the same price of around Rs. 89k. It has the Snapdragon 865, 30W Fast charging, 30W Wireless fast charging,108MP camera sensor, and a top-notch AMOLED display.
Yes! the OS experience is going to matter a lot. But, if you don’t mind MIUI, then Mi 10 is the better choice.
