Samsung Galaxy A05 Overview
Design
The Samsung Galaxy A05 looks pretty clean at the back. Even the budget phones from Samsung follow the design philosophy of their S-series phones. The A05 has two camera rings and a flash on the plastic back with lines running on it to give a good finish.
The phone features a headphone jack (yes you heard it correctly) but lacks a fingerprint sensor.
Display
The phone comes with a 6.7-inch HD+ resolution display. Samsung makes some of the best panels so the PLS LCD panel on this phone should be of decent quality as well.
You get a waterdrop notch for the front camera and the bezels surrounding the phone look pretty thin, except for the chin.
Hardware
Under the hood of this phone is a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. It is an entry-level octa-core processor (2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55) with Mali-G52 MC2 to handle the graphics.
The phone is expected to come with 6GB RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage option. There is also a dedicated micro SD slot for up to 1TB of storage expansion.
Camera
In the camera department, the phone features a dual camera setup, on paper that is. The primary camera is a 50MP f1.8 camera and the secondary is a 2MP depth sensor. You can shoot videos up to 1080p@60fps which is nice to see on a budget device.
The front has an 8MP f2.0 camera and can shoot up to 720p@30fps videos which is pretty standard stuff.
Battery and OS
