Samsung Galaxy A03 Core Overview
The Samsung Galaxy A03 Core has a plastic casing and comes in two colours: black and blue. The back has a textured finish and curved sides to help with gripping.
The back of the phone includes a single circular camera with a flash beneath it, both of which are surrounded by a striped pattern that serves only as decoration. The bottom side has a headphone jack, a micro USB port, and a speaker.

The phone features Samsung’s own 6.5-inch PLS LCD display. As we expect from an entry-level phone, it also has HD+ resolution.
Samsung’s PLS display is comparable to the IPS panels found in low-end phones; the display should have a wide viewing angle and a good level of brightness. It is, however, not known for having the best color reproduction.
It is equipped with a Unisoc SC9863A chipset. It’s a three-year-old SoC built on 28nm process technology. It has eight Arm Cortex-A55 CPU cores, four of which are clocked at 1.6GHz and the rest at 1.2GHz, and a PowerVR GE8322 GPU.
It’s an outdated entry-level processor, but it appears to be the most preferred SoC among budget phone manufacturers to this day. Moreover, the phone has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The rear has an 8MP main camera, and the front has a 5MP selfie camera. The phone can shoot video at a resolution of up to 1080p at 30 fps.
Entry-level phones, or any phone below the mid-range, have always had their camera performance compromised. We don’t know what sensor the A03 Core uses, but based on past experiences with phones in this price range, I don’t expect it to be very good.
Battery and Others
It is powered by a 5000mAh battery and comes with a 7.8W charger in the box. Though the charging time with the included charger may take a long time, it should have a good battery life once charged.
Furthermore, the phone will run on the Android 11 Go edition. It’s the stripped-down version of the standard Android 11, meant for low-end phones.

The Samsung Galaxy A03 Core is yet another entry-level phone in Nepal. It’s a low-end phone from Samsung that features an entry-level chipset, a very basic camera setup, just 2GB of RAM, and a typical budget-level display.
It runs on the Android 11 Go edition and lacks a fingerprint sensor, both of which are expected to be in this range of smartphones. However, because it is reasonably priced and delivers a well-optimized software experience, this phone has the potential to be the budget king.
