If you are a student of IT, Computer Science or Engineering, then you have definitely heard of ‘Ruby on Rails’. Ruby on Rails, or simply Rails, is a web application framework written in Ruby. Rails is a model–view–controller (MVC) framework, providing default structures for a database, a web service, and web pages.
If you have heard of it and want to learn more about it, then gear up for ‘Ruby on Rails Workshop’ which will be organized by Bajra Technologies and CSIT Association of Nepal. Mark your calendar as the workshop will be held on 5th and 6th March at Bajra Technologies, Dillibazar. The workshop will be instructed by Nishant Karki and Gaurab Pandey. They will be covering the following topics on the workshop:
- Ruby Language

The organizers aim to provide good programming skill development training on ‘Ruby on Rails’ to the college level students of Computer Science, IT and Engineering. This is not the first workshop they have organized. CSIT Association of Nepal has been actively organizing many events and workshops on fields like WordpPress, ASP.net for programming enthusiasts.
The event does not end there as the workshop, it will be followed by a Hackathon on March 13th on ‘Ruby on Rails’. The winner and runner up of hackathon will win a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 5,000 respectively.
