Realme 7 Pro Overview
Realme touts a mirror space design on the Realme 7 Pro. It is still using the plastic back but it has a matte finish with a split design. There’s a quad-camera setup on the back and has an under-display fingerprint sensor.
On the front, it has a hole punch on the left. Furthermore, it has a stereo speaker as well.
Realme 7 Pro has a 6.4 inches Super AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. Also, it is protected by Gorilla Glass 3+.
The screen has a resolution of 2400 X 1080 along with a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio and 409 PPI.
Realme 7 Pro is using a Snapdragon 720G chipset along with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB UFS2.1 storage.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G has an Octa-core (2×2.3 GHz Kryo 465 Gold & 6×1.8 GHz Kryo 465 Silver) CPU and Adreno 618 GPU.
It’s a little bit confusing because the non-pro Realme 7 is using the Helio G95 which is the upgraded Helio G90T. And, G95 is supposed to be a better gaming chipset than the Snapdragon 720G.
Well, Snapdragon 720G is an efficient chipset as it’s an 8nm chipset and has better CPU performance as well. But as we saw on the Redmi Note 9 Pro, Snapdragon 720G did not have as good gaming performance.
Realme 7 Pro is using a quad-camera setup on the rear with a 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP B&Wsensor.
On the front, it has a 32MP sensor for selfies.
The main 64MP sensor is a Sony IMX 682 sensor which has been used on the likes of Samsung M51 and Redmi K30 Ultra.
It can capture up to 4k videos at 30fps from the rear camera. And, it can capture [email protected]/60/120fps as well.
Realme 7 Pro has a 4500 mAh battery along with 65W fast charging. Realme claims that the 65W charger can charge the phone from 0 to 100% in just 34 mins.
The battery has been slightly upgraded from 4300 mAh battery on the Realme 6 Pro. It should last for more than a day with average usage.
Furthermore, it runs on Realme UI on top of Android 10.
Realme 7 Pro Price in Nepal and Availability
Realme 7 Pro price in India starts at Rs. 19,999. So, we expect the Realme 7 Pro price in Nepal to be around Rs. 36,000.
Realme 7 Pro is the update to the Realme 6 Pro. Some of the major updates include a 60Hz Super AMOLED display, 64MP Sony IMX 682 sensor, and a 65W fast charging.
As for the chipset, it is using Snapdragon 720G which is a very good chipset but Realme 7 is using Helio G95 which is supposedly better than 720G at gaming. So, this looked a bit weird to me but Realme could have optimized the chipset for gaming.
Realme 7 Pro looks fascinating but I’m not quite sure about the Snapdragon 720G chipset.
