OnePlus Pad Overview

Design

The OnePlus Pad is a thin and light tablet, measuring just 6.5mm in thickness and weighing 552g. The back of the tablet is made of unibody aluminum and features a single circular rear camera with a flash, along with the OnePlus logo at the center.

It has curved edges along its sides and bottom. The top side of the tablet (when horizontally oriented) features a flat edge for magnetic attachment of the OnePlus stylus named OnePlus Stylo, which the company sells separately. This same side also includes volume buttons.

The bottom side (when vertically oriented) houses a USB-C port, a mic, and two speaker holes. The bottom side, in the horizontal position, contains a pogo pin connector for the magnetic keyboard. On the top (when horizontally oriented), there are two more speaker holes and a power button.

The OnePlus Pad is available in the sole color option of Halo Green. Unfortunately, it lacks a headphone jack, microSD card support, and SIM card support.

Display

The display has an 11.61-inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels. The display supports up to 144Hz refresh rate and has 500 nits of maximum brightness.

The OnePlus Pad has a unique 7:5 aspect ratio. OnePlus says this aspect ratio maximizes readability and tactile comfort. The 10-bit display supports Dolby Vision.

Hardware

The OnePlus Pad is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, featuring the Mali-G710 MC10 GPU.

This 4nm chipset comprises one primary Arm Cortex-X2 core that bursts to 3.05GHz, three Cortex-A710 cores clocked at up to 2.85GHz, and four power-efficient Cortex-A510 cores clocked at up to 1.8GHz.

The chipset is paired with 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The OnePlus Pad features a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support.

It provides support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 but does not have cellular support.

Camera

The back has a single 13MP main camera. And at the front, it sports an 8MP selfie camera.

The back camera can shoot up to 4K video at 30fps, while the front camera is limited to 1080p 30fps.

Battery and OS

The tablet includes a 9510mAh battery. OnePlus claims the battery can provide up to 12.4 hours of video playback. The tablet comes with a 67W fast charger, capable of fully charging the tablet in just over an hour.

In terms of software, it runs on OxygenOS 13.1 based on Android 13. This OxygenOS is lightly modified for the tablet form factor.
