OnePlus has started taking pre-orders for the new OnePlus 11 in Nepal. The phone, which is set to launch today (February 7, 2023) at Cloud 11 event in India, is currently already available on Daraz for pre-order.
The OnePlus 11 price in Nepal is Rs. 1,29,999 (8/128GB) and Rs. 1,34,999 (16/256GB).
However, upon pre-booking, OnePlus is offering a 16/256GB variant for the price of the base 8/128GB model. If you pay for the 16/256GB OnePlus 11, you will get a free OnePlus Nord Buds, OnePlus Band, or OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z.
The phone has already been unveiled in China earlier this month, a month before the global launch, so its features were already known.
As the flagship device from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer for 2023, it is unclear which phone the OnePlus 11 succeeds, as there was no standard OnePlus 10 released in the previous year. Instead, only the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10T were launched.
In addition to the OnePlus 11, the company is set to reveal a range of other new products in India, including the OnePlus 11R 5G, OnePlus Buds 2 Pro, OnePlus Pad, and OnePlus TV Q2 Pro, among others.

OnePlus 11 Overview
Design
The OnePlus 10 Pro marked a major shift in the company’s smartphone design with its large camera island that blended seamlessly with the metal frame, featuring four camera rings.
This year, the OnePlus 11 continues this trend with similarly sized camera circles, but the square island has been replaced by a round one.
The device still has the company’s signature alert slider on the right side of the device, above the power button. The volume buttons are given on the left side of the device.
When it launched in China, we got to see two colors for the OnePlus 11: green and black. The green has a glossy finish, while the black features a matte sandstone finish.

Display
Boasting a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display with slight side curves, the device features cutting-edge LTPO 3.0 technology that adjusts the refresh rate dynamically from 1Hz to 120Hz.
When switching between different refresh rates, the new LTPO technology is reported to offer an almost negligible delay. It enables the refresh rate of the display to intelligently adjust in real-time depending on how fast or slowly you are interacting with it.
The display has a pixel density of 525 ppi and also features a punch-hole design notch on the top left corner for the front-facing camera. Moreover, the phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
Hardware
The OnePlus 11 comes with the latest flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a successor of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 that powers smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4.
Qualcomm promises improved performance with up to 35% faster CPU and up to 25% faster graphics rendering, as well as improved power efficiency with up to 40% better CPU efficiency and up to 45% better GPU efficiency.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm technology, has a 1+4+3 setup (the previous gen used a 1+3+4 setup) with four CPU clusters with a combination of a top-performing Arm Cortex-X3 core (up to 3.2GHz) and three energy-efficient Cortex-A510 (up to 2.0GHz) cores.
Unlike previous models, Qualcomm has utilized two different CPU cores in the performance cluster, comprising two newer Arm Cortex-A715 cores and two last-gen Cortex-A710 cores, all at up to 2.8GHz clock speed.
The reason for incorporating two different performance cores is to maintain compatibility with legacy 32-bit applications (AAarch32), as the new Cortex-A715 and Cortex-X3 only support 64-bit applications (AAarch64).
When ARM introduced the Cortex-A510 core in 2021, it was designed as a 64-bit-only AAarch64 core. However, it appears that Qualcomm has revised the A510 for the 8 Gen 2 chipset to support both 64- and 32-bit applications.
Additionally, the OnePlus 11 is equipped with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. UFS 4.0 is the latest flash storage standard that offers double the sequential read/write speed (up to 4.2GB/s and 2.8GB/s, respectively) and consumes less power compared to UFS 3.1, making the device faster than before.
Camera
The prominent display of Hasselblad’s branding in the camera area indicates that OnePlus is still collaborating with the Swedish camera company for color tuning.
The device features a triple-camera setup on the back consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera, a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor for 2x telephoto shots.
The front of the phone is equipped with a 16MP selfie camera, down from the 32MP camera on the OnePlus 10 Pro.
Battery and OS
Fueling the smartphone is a 5000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Unfortunately, the OnePlus 11 does NOT support wireless charging. The 10 Pro did.
Like last year, the Chinese variant of the OnePlus smartphone runs on ColosOS, while the global variant will get OxygenOS. OnePlus will boot on OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13.
