Nothing Phone 2 Overview
Design
The Nothing Phone 2 is very similar to the Phone 1. The major difference with the design would be that the back glass on the Phone 1 was flat but Nothing has added a curved panel to the Phone 2.
They have redesigned their glyph interface to feature more addressable zones and have made it more usable with software customizations.
The phone has a hole-punch cutout and symmetrical bezels all around the phone and you know how much we all love symmetry.
The IP54-rated phone also comes with an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.

The 6.7-inch flexible OLED is a 1080 x 2412 pixels 10-bit display with LTPO technology. The display can dynamically adjust its refresh rate from 1–120Hz.
It’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and can reach 1600 nits of peak brightness. Oh yeah, its touch sampling rate is 240Hz so the phone will feel pretty smooth.

The front has a 32MP f2.45 selfie camera featuring the Sony IMX615 sensor which we’ve seen on another OnePlus device before.
It’s able to shoot up to 1080p videos at 60fps. You can also shoot Live HDR videos but only at 1080p@30fps.
Battery and OS
The Phone 2 has a 4700mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging and Nothing claims a 100% charge in 55 minutes.
The phone can also do 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse charging.
The smartphone runs on Android 13 out of the box with NothingOS 2 running on top.
It’s a pretty stock Android experience with some Nothing added customizations and Nothing has promised 3 years of Android updates with 4 years of bi-monthly security patches.
