Nokia G21 Overview
The Nokia G21 has a polycarbonate body with a textured back. The back has a transparent vertical rectangular rear camera island and a Nokia branding.
There are power and volume buttons on the right side of the phone. The power button also acts as a fingerprint sensor to quickly unlock the device.
There is also a dedicated button on the left side for Google Assistant, beneath the SIM card tray. The bottom houses a microphone, USB-C port, and speaker.

It includes a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ (720 x 1600px) resolution. The panel has been upgraded to a 90Hz refresh rate, which should make it much smoother.
This is the first G series device from Nokia to support a high refresh rate display. Like any other budget device, it also has a large chin and a waterdrop notch.
The device is powered by a Unisoc T606 chipset. It’s a more powerful chipset than the Helio G35 chipset included in its predecessor.
The Unisoc T606 has an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores and a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. The phone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Users can also expand the storage via a microSD card.
The Nokia G21 has dropped the ultra-wide-angle camera that was present in the Nokia G20. It now only has three cameras: a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
Instead of an ultrawide camera, I would have liked it if the company had removed the macro and depth cameras. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera. The phone can record 1080p video at 30fps.
Battery and OS
The phone comes with a 5050mAh battery. The company claims it can last up to 3 days with a single charge.
The battery capacity is the same as last year, but the charging speed has improved. It now supports up to 18W fast charging.
For software, it comes with stock Android 11. The company promises to provide two years of OS upgrades and thirty-six security updates.
