Continental Associates, the authorized distributor of Kia vehicles in Nepal, is planning to launch its most-premium EV.

Kia EV6 is a brand new electric crossover. Unlike other EV products, this one maxes out in style, specs, and features.

We were able to gather interesting details about these upcoming products. Unfortunately, Kia Nepal hasn’t confirmed or denied these details.

As for the pricing, Kia EV6 price in Nepal will be around Rs. 1.10 Crore to Rs. 1.20 Crore.

Kia EV6 Overview

Design

Kia EV6 is a modern crossover.

It sports an eye-catching muscular design with a distinctively sporty look.

The front section comes with a clam-shell hood with two sculpted lines. Moreover, the futuristic LED Headlamps along with unique LED DRLs help create a unique impression.

Additionally, there are significant grills present in the front section.

However, Kia has tried to implement that into the design without overdoing it.

Similarly, the side profile comes with significant crease lines. It includes Flush Door Handles and Aerodynamic Alloy Wheels.

Kia EV6 is powered by a Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM). It can generate a max power of 228PS and a max torque of 350Nm.

EV6 comes with a 77.4kWh Lithium-Ion Polymer battery.

Moreover, the standard home outlet can fully charge the battery in 32 hours 45 minutes. However, there might be an additional option to charge in 7 hours 20 minutes via a Kia charger.

As for the range, Kia claims an average range of 500Km per charge.

EV6 will be built on Hyundai’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP).

Since both EV6 and Ioniq 5 share the same platform, there is familiarity between the two products.

The dimensions are 4695mm in length, 1890mm in width, and 1545mm in height. Moreover, the wheelbase sits at 2900mm.

As for the availability, Kia Nepal is still in the planning stage.

It was initially expected to arrive in February, but that no longer seems to be the case. Nevertheless, Kia EV6 is coming to Nepal.

When? It is expected to arrive sometime in mid-2022.
