Talk about progress. IMARS was a brand unknown to most of us before this past month. For many of you who still don’t have a clue who they are, IMARS is a multinational company based in China. Its parent company is Heng Da Chuang Xin technology Limited, and it has a presence in Latin America, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Yemen, and Nepal among many other places. They make all kinds of devices like Phones, Laptops, TVs, and Power Banks.
Opal Multinational Pvt. Ltd. is the authorized distributor of IMARS phones in Nepal. They also are the distributor of the phones named Opal. Currently, IMARS has a plan to launch 6 phones in Nepal, 2 feature phones, and 4 smartphones (maybe more). They haven’t fixed the launch date yet. But they say it will be some time before or during Dashain.
But that’s not the current news. The news is the fact that a relatively unknown company such as IMARS signed a big name film star in Nepal like Anmol K.C. This is a great move from IMARS to increase it’s brand following and recognition among Nepalese consumers. The famed actor will soon be seen endorsing smartphones and feature phones in Nepal.
IMARS is fully gearing up to make a roar in the Nepalese market. But with the heavyweights like Huawei, Xiaomi, and Samsung firmly sitting amongst the heart of Nepalese people, we don’t think the endorsement of Anmol K.C. will lure enough people to make IMARS successful. However, leave your thoughts and comments in the comments section below.
