Honor X8c Overview
Design
The Honor X8c sticks closely to the design playbook of its predecessor, the X8b. With a plastic build and nearly identical dimensions, the two look almost the same at a glance, though the X8c is slightly thicker and about 8gm heavier.
At the back, the familiar square camera island with four circular cutouts returns, but this year’s setup is actually a downgrade in terms of camera specs (more on that shortly).
On the front, the capsule-shaped camera notch remains, but the uniform bezels from the X8b are gone—the bottom chin is now slightly thicker.
The phone comes in three colors: Marrs Green, Midnight Black, Cloud Purple, and Moonlight White. Marrs Green stands out with its checkered vegan leather back, while the other two sport a standard plastic finish.
Display
The Honor X8c features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels. One notable upgrade from the X8b is the bump to a smoother 120Hz refresh rate, up from 90Hz.
The addition of an in-display fingerprint sensor is also nice. Brightness levels remain unchanged, with 1200nits in High Brightness Mode and a peak of 2800nits. The panel also supports 3240Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, aimed at reducing eye strain during extended use.
Color-wise, Honor claims full DCI-P3 coverage and support for 16.7 million colors.
Hardware
Under the hood, the Honor X8c runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 4G chipset, paired with an Adreno 610 GPU. The processor is a slight upgrade from last year and should handle everyday tasks well.
Unfortunately, it’s a bit of a letdown in this price range, especially with 5G phones starting to pop up in the same segment.
The same chipset powers more affordable devices like the Honor X7c and Vivo Y29, which makes the X8c feel underwhelming for the price.
That said, the phone comes with 8GB of RAM and a generous 512GB of internal storage in Nepal. Honor also offers RAM expansion support, doubling the available memory for multitasking.
The X8c boasts a 5-star drop resistance certification from SGS Switzerland and carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
Camera
The rear camera setup on the Honor X8c might look like a triple-lens module, but it actually houses just two sensors: a 108MP main shooter and a 5MP ultrawide/depth combo.
Sadly, the 2MP macro lens from last year’s model is gone—disappointing, especially when many competitors still include both ultrawide and macro options at this price point.
Up front, you get a high-res 50MP selfie camera, but Honor has also removed the front-facing flash this time.
As for video, both the front and rear cameras are capped at 1080p at 30fps.
Battery and OS
Honor has upgraded the battery to 5,000mAh, aligning with what most phones in this segment offer. It supports 35W fast charging, branded as Honor SuperCharge.
On the software side, the X8c runs on Android 15 out of the box with Honor’s native MagicOS 9.0 on top.
Honor X8c Price in Nepal and Availability
The Honor X8c price in Nepal is Rs. 33,999 (8/512GB). After teasing the phone since early April, Honor Nepal has finally launched the X8c for purchase— now available with an early bird offer.

8/512GB | Rs. 33,999 |
The Honor X8c is a mid-range follow-up to the X8b, bringing upgrades like a smoother 120Hz display and a larger 5,000mAh battery. While those are welcome changes, they’re nothing groundbreaking, especially with competitors already offering similar or better specs.
The lack of 5G support and the missing macro lens are definite downsides, making it a harder sell for users looking for a more future-proof option.
