Honor X7a Overview
The Honor X7a has a plastic frame and back. The back has a gradient finish with curved sides. The phone is available in three colors: Titanium Silver, Ocean Blue, and Midnight Black.
The back has two huge camera circles accompanied by a little pill-shaped design housing a flash, and another camera, all enclosed in a vertical rectangular island.
The right side of the device has power and volume buttons. The power button also doubles as a fingerprint sensor. Likewise, the speaker, USB-C port, mic, and 3.5mm headphone jack are located on the bottom.
The device boasts a large 6.74-inch IPS LCD display with a high 90Hz refresh rate. However, the resolution of HD+ may not be as sharp as the FullHD+ resolution found in other phones in its price range. Though, it’s worth noting that the difference in resolution may not be easily noticeable to the average user.
The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9. It has a dated dewdrop notch design for a selfie camera and a relatively thick bottom bezel.
Honor X7a comes with a MediaTek MT6765H Helio G37 chipset under the hood. It’s an entry-level processor with eight ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores divided into two clusters and is built using a 12nm fabrication technology. The four CPUs are clocked at up to 2.3GHz, while the rest are at up to 1.8GHz.
For memory, the phone comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
It has a quad-camera setup comprising a 50MP main camera, 5MP ultrawide camera, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone can shoot video up to 1080p at 30fps.
The front has an 8MP selfie camera.
Battery and OS
Honor X7a has a huge 6000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support.
In terms of storage, it runs on Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12 out of the box.
