Apple iPad 2022 with Bionic A14 Chip Now Available in Nepal

The new Apple iPad 10th Gen (2022) is now available in Nepal. It was introduced by Apple on October 19, 2022, along with the new iPad Pro 2022.

Apple introduced a brand-new iPad 2022 and iPad Pro 2022 on October 19, 2022. The Apple iPad 2022 (10th gen) is the follow-up to the entry-level iPad of last year.

The new iPad is thinner with flatter sides and has a more prominent 10.9-inch display. It is available in 64GB/256GB configurations and comes in blue, pink, yellow, and silver trims.

Apple iPad 2022 Overview

Design

Apple iPad 2022 is basically an iPad Air (2022) when it comes to design. It has thinner and flat sides just like the iPad Air.

The rear camera module is also similar to that of the iPad Air and the touch ID is now top-mounted.

On the front, the display now has a thinner and symmetrical bezel. Apple calls this the All-Screen design.

The iPad 2022 now gets a USB-C and supports first-gen Apple Pencil. Apple has also made a Magic Keyboard Folio for the new iPad that connects through Smart Connector and attaches magnetically. It includes a kickstand and a trackpad. You will need to pay an extra $249 for the keyboard though.

Display

The display panel is now bigger as it uses a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display found on the iPad Air 2022. It is a 60Hz display with a screen resolution of 2360×1640 at 264 PPI.

The new Liquid Retina display provides a beautiful visual experience with a 2360×1640-pixel resolution, nearly 4 million pixels, 500 nits of brightness, and True Tone technology.

Hardware

iPad 2022 is powered by the powerful A14 Bionic chip delivering a 20 percent increase in CPU and a 10 percent improvement in graphics over the previous generation.

The A14 has a 6-core (2×3.0 GHz Firestorm + 4×1.8 GHz Icestorm) CPU and a 4-core Apple GPU. Likewise, it comes in a 64GB or a 256GB storage configuration.

The iPad 2022 also comes with Wi-Fi 6, 5G, and USB-C for faster connectivity. Cellular models with 5G allow iPad to reach peak speeds of up to 3.5Gbps in ideal conditions.

Camera

iPad 2022 has a 12MP Rear camera and a 12MP Ultrawide Front-Facing camera.

The front-facing camera is now located along the landscape edge just like the iPad Air. Also, the upgraded 12MP rear camera delivers high res photos and detailed 4K video with support for 240-fps slo-mo.

Battery

iPad 2022 has a 28.65Wh battery. It is rated to provide up to 10 hours of battery life when watching videos or surfing the web.

Furthermore, iPad 2022 runs on iPad OS 16.
